Socialism and The Bible Are Incompatible

Socialism and The Bible cannot coexist with one another. Socialism is all about coveting what your neighbor has. If you covet something long enough, the devil will convince you that you deserve it, which will then lead you to the justification of stealing whatever your neighbor has worked hard for all of his life.

Socialism says you are entitled to everything. God’s Word says that you have to go out and work for what you have. You may never be as rich as your neighbor but you must remember where your treasure is because where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

I can work and be content with what God has given knowing that at the end of this life I will recieve my heavenly reward. True riches are beyond this world and by faith , if we are saved, can see those riches.

Socialism must convince you that your provisions come from Government not God. The Bible, overtime, has stopped being taught in our schools, replaced by atheist agendas claiming that man has given us our rights so that when man takes those rights away we will be conditioned to believe this to be true, never even trying to fight for our God given rights.

Know your history. Know your Bible. There is no life more free than living a life in Jesus Christ. Our founders knew that true freedom could only be found in Christ. The type of government that they set up allowed every man, woman, and child to make this decision for themselves. To have the freedom to choose to live a life in Christ.

Socialism takes away that freedom to choose. Socialism makes that decision for you. Socialism sounds great at first, as does everything that the devil offers you.

Sounds good. Feels good. Tastes good. But when its all said and done, and the layers of Socialism are peeled back you are left with nothing.

God does not guarantee that will be rich in this works but He does promise that if we do go work He will provide us all we need. Our Republic was setup to allow God to work in the lives of individuals and over the last 200 years as a result we have seen more people pulled out of poverty both physically and spiritually than in the entire history of the world.

Our system has flaws. It was set up by man and man is not perfect but this idea that we call America has given man the ability choose what kind of life he wants to live.

If we aren’t careful we will lose that right to choose given to us by God.

Ronald Reagan said this:

“Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children’s children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.”



God or Government?

1 Tim 5:8 But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

First we have to understand where our provisions come from. Who is ultimately responsible for supplying our every need? Paul spoke to Timothy some very powerful words. Where do our provisions come from?

Government or God?

As I was watching a little bit of the Democratic Presidential Debate I heard Mr. Bernie Sanders say that we “deserve a living wage.” I kept hearing about how the government was going to give us everything that we’ve ever wanted or dreamed of. They’re just going to give it to us? At what cost I ask?

I pondered on that for a minute. There is freedom in going out and providing for your family. “Earning” a living wage. We are to go out and work for what we have. We are to go out and work for what we need. I know that is a crazy concept with these people. I have never been wealthy by any means by worldly standards but I am rich beyond measure because I know that the Lord supplies my every need. I may not have all that I want but I have what I need.

I believe that these people that I listened to speak want you to turn to the government for every need that you have. They want you to trust and depend on them for all of your needs.

Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

The Bible clearly tells us that we cannot serve two masters. We cannot serve God and government. If we know our Constitution we know that our government serves us, the people.

A government for the people, of the people, and by the people.

How does government get people to forget the what the Constitution says? Erase any trace of Scriptures from all public office. Get rid of the Word of God. They have successfully done that over the course of nearly 70 years.

The devil is sly. The devil is patient. The devil is persuasive and convincing. He also feeds off of emotion. He is also the author of confusion. He is a liar, a murderer and a thief.

First he says I’m going to take the Bible out of schools as a required textbook….
Then he says I’m going to replace the scriptures with “morally sound” textbooks….
Then he says I’m going to start injecting evolution into those same textbooks….
Then he says I’m going to ban the creation account from being taught in public schools….
Then he says I’m going to use one atheist woman to take prayer out of the schools…..
Then he says I’m going to remove any evidence of the 10 Commandments from public offices and schools…..

Then over the course of time we forget and begin to reject God’s Word as our ultimate authority and begin to turn to government out of fear for lack of knowledge. Lack of knowledge of where our provisions come from? Lack of knowledge of who God even is?

That’s what has happened in our nation over the course of the last century … We have forgotten who we are and what we were founded upon. We must return to our roots…return to the Constitution….return to the Word of God.

Matthew said “he will hold to the one and despise the other.” Well so many today are praising the government for ungodly and unconstitutional proposals while condemning and despising the Bible and it’s teachings along with the Bill of Rights which are rooted in the idea that our “unalienable rights” come from God not the government.

Who do you serve…in any country that you live in today? God or Government?

The biggest threat to any government is a free thinking people who believe that their rights come from an almighty God. The government over time has convinced people that their rights come from an almighty government because the people have stopped turning to the scriptures. That’s why people are so easily dominated by fear today.

There is no freedom in the government. They will ultimately tell you how much you can make, where you can live, the size of the house you can live in, what to eat, what to drive, what you can and can’t protect your family with. There is no freedom in that way of life.

There is freedom in living for Christ. In going out and providing for your family. Helping your neighbor. Loving your friends and your enemies. Sometimes it’s not easy but there is freedom in that way of life.

September 11th, 2001: Let Us Never Forget

On September 11th, 2001 the world witnessed evil. We saw the absolute worst of what man was capable of.

Where were you that September day? Where were you when the world seemingly stopped turning?

September 11th, 2001…I was a 16 year old Junior at Dublin Scioto High School in History class when the tvs were turned on to the image of one of the towers with smoke coming out of one side. Keep in mind this was a world before Facebook, before Twitter, before the smart phone, before social media. We were all confused about what was going happening. The bell rang and I walked into Mr. Watkins Earth Science class to the images of the two towers on the tv, still with smoke coming from the one. Out of nowhere we all watched a plane barrel into the other tower as it erupted into a ball of fire. I watched my teachers reaction as he put his head down and said to himself “oh my gosh”. I saw a look in his eyes that I would never forget. At that moment we all knew that it was no accident. We were officially at war and were under attack. You could tell that none of us could really get a grip on what was happening. At 16 years old I had no idea who Osama Bin Laden was, who Al Qaeda was, or why this would even be happening. The tv’s were on in nearly every classroom. When I got home I found my neighbor sitting out on his front doorstep with a gun in his hand telling me that he was preparing for war tonight. 16 years later we are still fighting the same war against the same enemy:

Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places

Only I didn’t understand exactly who the enemy was then but after giving my life to Christ 10 years ago the true enemy was revealed through the Word of God. We have the threat of nuclear war with North Korea, Iran, Russia, and the biggest threat of all to our freedom is Ourselves. If we dont stop this fighting among ourselves we will surely crumble and die as a people. A nation that is divided among itself cannot stand. The enemy knows this.

On September 12th, 2001 we also witnessed what man was capable of. We saw people, complete strangers come together and help each other, take care of each other only because it was the right thing to do. We saw people from all different races and backgrounds come together and unite because it was the right thing to do. We put aside our differences if only for a short and were more united that day than ever before or since. We celebrated the fact that we are all Americans, that we are one nation under God, we came together not because of who we voted for in the last election or what political party we associated ourselves with but for one purpose and one purpose only: We are ALL Americans….

My how far we have fallen since that day. We don’t know what tomorrow holds but I can clearly see that this country is tearing itself apart from the inside out.

It has turned its back on what it means to love thy neighbor as thyself, we have turned our backs upon the Word of God. Our nation came together that day but only for a short time. Today America is farther away from God than shes ever been. The enemy sees it and it was those same principalities that were behind the attacks 19 years ago and the same wickedness behind it today.

So I ask this question, Are you ready?

Is your heart right with God? People refuse to hear truth today. Many refuse to listen and are in a state of numbness because they refuse to acknowledge their sin. Many want to live in their own reality. Are you ready? Is your heart prepared to stand before God is you departed this life today?

I’m glad I’m saved. I’m glad my sins have been forgiven. I can take comfort in the fact that regardless of how I depart this life I’m a winner either way because Jesus Christ lives inside my heart!

The Myth that is Separation of Church and State: Our Beginning

1st Amendment: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

There are always two books that I keep with me at all times especially when I am writing, my King James Bible and The Constitution and with it the Declaration of Independence. I know that nobody wants to hear what the constitution says anymore and with-it God’s Word but I want you to look very carefully at what that 1st Amendment says. I want you to find the phrase “Separation of Church and State.” I want you to show me how we got that false phrase from the 1st Amendment. I hate to tell you but you won’t find in anywhere mentioned in the document that gave us freedom of religion not freedom from religion.

So how have we as a nation over the course of over 240 years come to reject God’s Word and our free exercise of religion in every public building, office, and school? Yes, I said school.

Jud 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. 

Ungodly men have crept into our public offices, our schools, and our pulpits. These ungodly me with ungodly values know that if they can twist the 1st amendment and destroy it then with it along with every other freedom that we have will go away and we can see that happening in our country now with the 2nd amendment. They have rewritten what the founders meant concerning our freedom to worship and now are rewriting our God given right and freedom to protect ourselves.

There was one great objective and truth that the founders agreed upon and that was that “the general principles on which the fathers achieved independence were…. the general principles of Christianity.”

These very principles that past leaders have spoken of were incorporated into our governing documents from the very beginning. In the garden Satan tempted Eve with the phrase “Hath God said.” Did God really say that Eve? “Surely you wont die but God knows that you will become gods like God himself!” So, Eve was deceived along with Adam into believing that they knew in their hearts was wrong. Sin can be traced back to the beginning. Back to the garden. Doubt, deception, worry, fear can all be traced back to garden.

Many have tried to twist and misinterpret what the founders meant regarding Christian values in the public arena. Did the founders really say that? They didn’t really say that. They really meant it this way so we are just going to take what they said out of context and use it to fit our agenda.

A French observer Alexis de Tocqueville reported what he saw when came to America in 1831:

“There is no country in the whole world in which the Christian religion retains a greater influence over the souls of men than in America – and there can be no greater proof of its utility , and of its conformity to human nature, than that its influence is most powerfully felt over the most enlightened and free nation on earth.”

Known historian David Barton had a conversation with a U.S. Congressman who was also an accomplished attorney about the importance of the basic religious values and teachings to public behavior and society in general. Here is that conversation:

Congressman: “We know these values are important; its unfortunate that we can’t do anything to promote them.”

Barton: “Why not?”

Congressman: “We just can’t.”

Barton: “Why not?”

Congressman: “Because of Separation of Church and State.”

Barton: “Separation of Church and State? What about it?”

Congressman: “It’s in the Constitution-the Constitution won’t permit us to have religious values in public arenas.”

Keep in mind this an educated U.S. Congressman and accomplished attorney……

Barton: “That phrase is not in the Constitution!”

Congressman: “Yes, it is!”

Barton: “No its not.”

Congressman: “Yes, it is.”

They go back and forth and finally a copy of the Constitution is brought into the conversation.

Barton: “Would you please find that phrase for me?”

Congressman: “Id be happy to!”

The Congressman immediately turned to the 1st Amendment and read it……and became very embarrassed.

Congressman: “I can’t believe this! In law school they always taught us that’s what the First Amendment said!”

Barton: “You’ve never read the Constitution for yourself?”

Congressman: “We were never required to read it in law school!”

This conversation alone speaks volumes about what is being in our universities and our public schools. The words “separation”, “Church”, or “state” are nowhere found in the 1st amendment, the Constitution, or any other founding document. We will get to Thomas Jefferson’s letter to the Danbury Baptists.

People we need to be self-educated and read for ourselves. Stop relying on what the government says, what others say or even what I say, see for yourself. Paul told Timothy to study to show himself approved unto God. We need to know what God’s Word says, what the Constitution says, read the works and writings of our founders. Hosea said this:

Hosea 4: 6… My people perish from a lack of knowledge. It’s one thing to know your Bible, but it’s another thing to KNOW the God of the Bible. Charles Haddon Spurgeon once said,” The scripture is our inexhaustible textbook, the Lord Jesus our boundless subject and the Holy Spirit our divine infinite helper “.

Even after seeing it for ourselves many people will say “Well, even though the words aren’t there, isn’t that what the First Amendment really means? We will answer that question in the next blog, “What the Founders Really Said” and the evidence that proves what they meant.

Shall Not Be Infringed

Know your history folks. Our God given right to bear arms shall not be infringed by any politician.

The 2nd Amendment clearly states:

“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

The militia made up a good portion of the American Continental Army. The militia was made up of the people. Blacksmiths, farmers, clergy, regular everyday citizens. That’s you and me.

So what does that word infringed mean?

Infringed: act so as to limit or undermine…
….so our right to bear arms shall not be limited or undermined …
Synonyms: violate, transgress, break, breach….

I have the God given right to protect my family and myself with whatever firearm I deem necessary.

What are Red Flag Laws?

In the United States, a red flag law is a gun violence prevention law that permits police or family members to petition a state court to order the temporary removal of firearms from a person who may present a danger to others or themselves. A judge makes the determination to issue the order based on statements and actions made by the gun owner in question.[1] Refusal to comply with the order is punishable as a criminal offense.[2][3] After a set time, the guns are returned to the person from whom they were seized unless another court hearing extends the period of confiscation.[4][5]

Who then decides who is dangerous and who isnt if the government imposed an executive order on red flag laws?

Red Flag Laws have been enacted in 17 states, proposed in 4 states, and 29 states that currently have no policy on these laws. If a state wants to implement these laws then that is up to that state. But what if the government were to force each state to abide by separate laws imposed on the people against their will?

Ohio is on the list of having had a Red Flag Law proposed last December SB19  to Obtain an order restricting access to firearms to those who impose a threat.

It might feel good to say “we have to do something”. Well when you are acting on emotion that is the absolute worst time to “do something” because you are not thinking with any sense of reason. We are making decisions strictly on emotion and that is exactly what some people want.

We are again letting fear and emotion dictate the decisions that we make as a people and as a nation.

Red Flag laws are a way around the Constitution without it ever having to come to a vote.

Red Flag laws bypass due process, the right to a fair trial.

Due process is that you are innocent until proven guilty. It’s part of what sets America apart from the rest of the world.

As we have seen over the last couple years in main stream media, we are now guilty until proven innocent. We have to now prove our innocence.

Red Flag laws are guilty until proven innocent. What are the Red Flags? They can be anything. If somebody calls the law and thinks that you are unstable to bear a firearm then you can be stripped of that firearm without any due process.

So where is the line drawn then? Who decides what’s considered to be stable? To some being unstable simply means owning a gun. To some it is being a Christian or what church you belong to. To some it’s being conservative or who you voted for in the last election. To some it could be based on the color of your skin or where you come from. Your family name.

I don’t care what political party you belong to or who you voted for. It is your right to vote for whoever you choose.

This isn’t about Republican or Democrat. Left or Right. Trump or CNN. But it’s about your God given rights as a human being that are etched in our founding documents by men who believe in the right to pursue Life, Liberty , and Happiness.

But where would the accusations end?
Red Flag laws are irresponsible and open up law abiding citizens to be accused of anything without any proof whatsoever.

We are on the verge of losing these rights. The right to bear arms is about so much more than hunting. It’s about maintaining the security of a free state. Look at what is going on in Hong Kong right now. The people there are crying out for help, singing our national anthem in airports. They have no way to protect themselves against an evil communist dictatorship. Who’s to say that can’t happen here?

Evil can disguise itself as “Democratic Socialism” all it wants to. The devil can sound slick, sly, smart, appealing, and beautiful.

Let’s say they tale away the so called “assault rifle” which is anything but a weapon of war. Then what is to stop them from deeming the next gun in line as too dangerous and so on and so forth? If we grant them the power to infringe on our right to bear arms just a little bit what is to stop those in power from coming for the rest?

Know your history, know your rights, know your Bible, know what God’s Word says. Lodge His word in your heart and stand firm upon the promises of God. Those who do not learn from histroy are doomed to repeat it.

We are one generation away from losing our rights. We must pray for our leaders, left and right, each other, our churches, and our nation.

James 5:16

We need REVIVAL! We need an AWAKENING of God’s people! We expect the world to act like the world but as Christians today we are lukewarm, sedated, and dead asleep.

We are so focused and consumed by the pleasures of this world that we forget how many lost are dying everyday without hope.


We have in a way become the Church of Ephesus here in America. The appearance of being busy for God but denying the power thereof. The Church in Ephesus had left its first love, It had forgotten its main purpose as a Church. This was a church that would have had something going on every night and to the world would have been called the “happening church”.


This is where Timothy resided and Paul wrote letters to him encouraging him to remain there and continue his work for God there. Paul’s letters to Timothy were a warning about what the Church had become there and the direction that they were heading spiritually. Those words of Paul were directed at the Church, not the world.


Our churches have become program driven rather than spirit driven. Our churches have based their success on how many fill the pews rather than how many fill the altars on Sunday mornings. Mainly because many have thrown out the altars and rarely have altar calls anymore so not to offend anyone.


When we stand before God is it going to matter more how many were in our church or how many lost souls we led to Jesus Christ for hope everlasting?


The burden that God has placed on my heart for revival is too great to explain and at times almost too much to bear. It pains me to see the condition of our communities, our homes, our churches, our nation when we have the greatest Hope that our world could ever seek to have and that is Jesus Christ!


Satan wants nothing more than to strike fear into the hearts of men and he seems to be succeeding in doing just that because as a people we have turned away from God’s Word and His council. We have many making decisions today motivated purely our of fear of what may or may not happen.

We have turned on the tv and turned off God.
We must stand strong in our principles, our values, and most importantly in the Word of God. Because as Nehemiah said we have a God that will fight for us if we allow Him to do so.

When we trust Christ as our Savior there is no reason to fear, no reason to doubt, no reason to run and hide because we have a God that will fight for us!


Neh 4:20 In what place therefore ye hear the sound of the trumpet, resort ye thither unto us: OUR GOD SHALL FIGHT FOR US.

The Family Dinner Table

Last night as our Trail Life leaders were giving the boys lessons on how to properly set a table combined with lessons on chivalry I was watching a group of young men including my son sitting around the table engaged with questions and an eagerness to learn knowing that these young group of boys are the future of our homes, our churches, our communities, and our nation. As I sat there, I started to reflect upon the condition of our society and the direction that this current generation is heading and how we got here.

We are on the verge of losing a whole generation of kids. We can blame our political leaders, we can blame the media, we can blame our public schools & universities, we can even try to justify placing the blame on our churches but ultimately we must take responsibility as parents and realize that we are on the cusp of losing an entire generation is because we have lost “The Family Dinner Table.”

For our house our dinner table throughout the day can become a place where all of our junk, clutter and mess accumulates. The table often gets ignored during the day but then dinner time rolls around and its time to clear off the mess and get the table ready for a hot meal. Our kids sometimes argue over who’s turn it is to set the table so then they both happily do it with a little grumbling. The places are set, the food is served, the blessing is asked and the dog takes her rightful place under the table patiently awaiting my kids to slip her some goodies.

From this point on we proceed to indulge in good food, meaningful conversation, the kids asking to get up and go use the bathroom, and trying to keep the dog off our feet.

While we live in busy times with busy schedules, we don’t always have the chance to gather around our dinner table every night but the majority of meals take place around that monstrosity that sits in the middle of our dining room that most of the time we regard as an inconvenience.

Many houses today are being built without dining rooms and it shows what kind of culture our children are growing up in. Many say there is no point in having a dining room much less a dining room table because we are just too busy. Many are disregarding this important place and piece of furniture without realizing the consequences and impact that this seemingly harmless decision will have on future generations. Its not just a place and a table but it is a lifestyle.

Our time at the family dinner table is a time where we laugh, joke, spill our food, wait for the dog to clean up the mess, tell stories, and debate about who’s turn it is to clear the table.

But most importantly this is a place where we all come together as a family and meet not only with each other but with God. We talk about the Scriptures. We talk about what it means to respect each other even if we disagree. We stress the importance of what it means to stand upon the Word of God in a world that has absolutely no regard for it anymore.

We begin to fully realize how we started losing this generation and it did not happen over night but slowly, over time, and it started at the dinner table by slowly fazing it out of our lives out of convenience. The biblical and moral values that were instilled in generations past came at the expense of the “Family Dinner Table” lifestyle. We used to sit down and talk with each other, learn about each other, even if we disagreed, we at least respected each other. Our kids were taught about having strong virtues and principles. This lifestyle takes sacrifice, patience, and some inconvenience. Our kids are worth it. Our future depends upon it.

“The enemy of America today is not Iraq. It is not Afghanistan or communism. It is not Somalian pirates. It’s the moral degradation and spiritual complacency of Americans,” contended Barna, founder of the research firm The Barna Group. “In essence it is the willingness of Americans to become victims of the imposition of values and objectives that defy our common good.”

We can’t blame our politicians, our media, our schools, our churches, our devices but we only have ourselves to blame. Today we have a whole generation of young people making decisions without any regard for God, accountability or the impact that their decisions will have on their kids one day.

Why is our nation in the shape that its in? Why are our communities and churches in the shape that they are in?

We have lost “The Family Dinner Table.”

If we lose our homes, we lose our churches…..

If we lose our churches, we lose our communities…..

If we lose our communities, we lose our nation…..

Accountability. Morals. Values. Principles. All combined with a strong reverence for our Creator as the foundation of it all. The way to win back this generation and the coming generations……..Bring back The Family Dinner Table. It starts in the home.

Unalienable Rights

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” – July 4th, 1776 The Unanimous Declaration of the Thirteen United States of America

We the people, our founders, believed that man’s right to pursue Life, Liberty, and Happiness did not come from the government but that these “unalienable” rights came from our Creator. From God Himself. Men like Washington, Adams, Jefferson, Franklin, Madison, and among many others believed that we ought to be a people free in pursuit of Life, Liberty, and Happiness without the restraints of government. The framers of our Constitution may not have all agreed on everything but they came together in the fact that these core principles would be the bedrock of the foundation of the new United States of America.

Just as recently as 2012 the Democratic National Convention previewed a video stating that “Government is the only thing that WE ALL belong to.” This type of thinking is opposite of what was written in the Declaration. Thomas Jefferson wrote these words regarding the role of Government in society “to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.”

Government’s role is not to create new rights but ensure that our “unalienable rights” are protected and that we have the God given right to pursue them.

Where did the idea for these basic “unalienable” rights derive from? George Washington, when he took the oath of office for the time, laid his hand upon the Word of God and declared that he would uphold these truths outlined in the Declaration, which would serve as the foundation in which the Constitution was framed, that he and the founders believed to be “self-evident”.

We grew up being taught in school that the main reason that the colonists wanted to break away from England was due to “taxation without representation.” While this was one of their many issues with the King, it certainly was not first and foremost. They had made a list of 27 individual grievances against England and at number 17 was “imposing taxes on us without our consent.” Look at the first amendment in the Bill of Rights, first ten amendments in the Constitution, and you will see what our founders were speaking of regarding these “unalienable rights.”

Amendment I: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

From the time the First Continental Congress convened to when the Declaration was drafted to when Washington put his hand on the Bible to when the Bill of Rights were written down in the Constitution our founders believed that these “unalienable rights” came from God Himself so therefore man could not take them away.

They believed that freedom of religion was the single most important issue regarding American Independence because man should have the free will that God has given him to pursue his right to freely worship wherever and whenever he sees fit. Whether that be in public office, public schools (we will get to this subject in our next blog post) and in general.

The only way that man can truly pursue Life, Liberty, and Happiness is to be free in Christ apart from the bondages of sin and our founders believed that man ought to be free to pursue Christ in all that he did in every area of his life. Man should have this free will not to be dictated by the government because God has given every man free will to make his or her decisions. Our founders looked to the Scriptures:

Galatians 5:1 – Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Galatians has often been referred to as the Declaration of Independence of the Bible. This is the God that our founders sought and believed in. The 10 Commandments given to Moses at Mount Sinai have been the foundation of our nation ever since its creation. There has been an agenda to destroy our nations founding principles overtime. The devil is patient and powerful and is behind the secular anti-God movement that has taken hold in our nation. The Bible says this in the Book of Ephesians:

Ephesians 6:12 – For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

The scriptures also tell us that in the book of Hosea in chapter 4 and verse 6 that “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.”

We must know our history. We must know our enemy. We must know the God of our Bible. If we are going to preserve these “unalienable rights” that our founders fought and died for along with the previous generations that have gone on before us that have sacrificed their lives to protect these rights, we must know Christ.

The only way to truly experience Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness and all things eternal is in the freedom that we have been given in Christ Jesus. The government says belong to me and you can all be free. America found its liberty in Christ. Christ says belong to me and you will truly be free.

My name is Nick Eanes, 34 years old, and have been married to my wife Alicia for 14 years now. We have 3 wonderful children whom God has blessed us with Micaela (11), Carson, (9), and Brooklyn (3). Jesus Christ changed my life in the summer of 2007 and have been trying to serve Him to the best of abilities ever since. God called me to preach His Gospel in September of 2012 and have been preaching ever since. God has allowed me to Youth Pastor, Pastor and work some wonderful people over the past several years from Ohio to Arkansas and back. I am currently Associate Pastor at Alum Creek Evangelical Friends Church. (Quaker) My family and I just recently launched our very own podcast titled, you guessed it, Faith, Family, and Freedom which is deeply rooted in the Scriptures and restoring Americas Judeo-Christian principles. My wife, apart from Christ, has been my rock and main supporter in life. I would not be where I am without her love and support. I have worked at the Kroger Company for last 20 years where God has blessed and taken care of me and my family. Faith, Family, and Freedom will not be a place where political rants dominate the platform but rather a place where we can discuss our Faith and how we can edify and help one another. It is not my intention to win, to be political, to shout others down but to help edify one another. It is also important to know and understand our history so a large amount of the discussion will revolve around what our nation was founded upon, the Constitution, along with our deep rooted biblical principles, the importance of the traditional American Family model and how it’s been a cornerstone of our nation and most importantly leading the lost to Christ for salvation. At the end of this life only one thing will matter: Are you lost or are you saved? My intentions are also not for me to sound smarter and better than anybody else, I don’t claim to be a scholar by any means but rather just a simple Christian man who loves his God, loves his family, and loves his country along with the biblical and moral principles that it was founded upon.
