Fret Not, Fear Not!

Pro_24:19 FRET NOT thyself because of evil men…..

Luk_12:32 FEAR NOT, little flock…..

We need REVIVAL! We need an AWAKENING of God’s people! We expect the world to act like the world but as Christians today we are lukewarm, sedated, and dead asleep.

We are so focused and consumed by the pleasures of this world that we forget how many lost are dying everyday without hope.

We have in a way become the Church of Ephesus here in America. The appearance of being busy for God but denying the power thereof. The Church in Ephesus had left its first love, It had forgotten its main purpose as a Church. This was a church that would have had something going on every night and to the world would have been called the “happening church”.

This is where Timothy resided and Paul wrote letters to him encouraging him to remain there and continue his work for God there. Paul’s letters to Timothy were a warning about what the Church had become there and the direction that they were heading spiritually. Those words of Paul were directed at the Church, not the world.

Our churches have become program driven rather than spirit driven. Our churches have based their success on how many fill the pews rather than how many fill the altars on Sunday mornings. Mainly because many have thrown out the altars and rarely have altar calls anymore so not to offend anyone.

When we stand before God is it going to matter more how many were in our church or how many lost souls we led to Jesus Christ for hope everlasting?

The burden that God has placed on my heart for revival is too great to explain and at times almost too much to bear. It pains me to see the condition of our communities, our homes, our churches, our nation when we have the greatest Hope that our world could ever seek to have and that is Jesus Christ!

Satan wants nothing more than to strike fear into the hearts of men and he seems to be succeeding in doing just that because as a people we have turned away from God’s Word and His council. We have many making decisions today motivated purely our of fear of what may or may not happen.

We have turned on the tv and turned off God.
We must stand strong in our principles, our values, and most importantly in the Word of God. Because as Nehemiah said we have a God that will fight for us if we allow Him to do so.

When we trust Christ as our Savior there is no reason to fear, no reason to doubt, no reason to run and hide because we have a God that will fight for us!

Neh 4:20 In what place therefore ye hear the sound of the trumpet, resort ye thither unto us: OUR GOD SHALL FIGHT FOR US.

Know your history, know your rights, know your Constitution and rightly divide the Word of God. Be informed. Who is Jesus to you?
